To ensure a safe, respectful, and professional environment, all eTwinners must follow these essential rules. 🚀
🚫 Misuse of Internal Messaging System
❌ Avoid sending excessive messages to teachers you do not collaborate with.
✅ Before contacting someone:
🔹 Check their profile to see if they are suitable for your project.
🔹 Do not copy & paste messages. Ensure your message is relevant.
🔹 Avoid sending the same message repeatedly to multiple eTwinners.
💼 Using eTwinning for Commercial Purposes
🔹 Strictly prohibited! No commercial companies, initiatives, events, or software should access or advertise on eTwinning. Any such content will be removed.
📢 Posting in Forums
🔹 Stay on topic – Ensure your message aligns with the discussion.
🔹 Before posting, check for similar messages and reply instead of creating duplicates.
🔹 Keep discussions collaborative and meaningful.
💬 Irrelevant or Inappropriate Comments
🔹 Only post comments relevant to the user’s post.
🔹 Avoid copying the same comment to multiple users.
📩 Contact Requests & Project Invitations
🔹 Do not send random friend requests or project invitations.
🔹 Only invite contacts you have interacted with and those relevant to your project.
🔹 If you wish to follow updates, use the "Follow" option instead.

🔹 Be selective – only invite users if you are certain they can attend.
🔹 Avoid spamming random invitations to school events.
🚨 Direct Threats, Bullying & Harassment
🔴 Zero tolerance policy! If you experience cyberbullying or threats:
🔹 Report the message immediately.
🔹 Contact your National Support Service (NSS).
🔹 Harassment may result in permanent account deactivation.
📜 Intellectual Property & Copyright
🔹 Do not use eTwinning for personal research surveys.
🔹 Ensure all uploaded content (photos, videos, documents) respects copyright laws.
🔹 Video Uploads: First upload to YouTube, DailyMotion, or Vimeo, then share the link on eTwinning.
🔹 Read the copyright guidelines before sharing any content.

🧒 Students (Minors) & Privacy
